Privacy & cookies
Last updated: August 2026
This privacy policy explains how Sue Judge Wholistic Health collects, uses, and looks after any personal information you provide when using this website.
Sue Judge is the data controller for this website. If you have any questions about how your data is handled, you can contact her at info@suejudgewholistichealth.co.uk. A postal address is available on request.
What information we collect
The only personal information we collect is what you choose to submit via the contact form on this website. This may include:
- Your name
- Your email address
- The nature of your enquiry
- The message or enquiry you send
We do not collect this information unless you actively choose to submit the contact form. Please only include health information in your message if you feel it is necessary for us to answer your enquiry. If you do, we treat it as confidential and use it solely to respond to you.
Our lawful basis for using your information
We rely on your consent, given when you choose to submit the contact form, and on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our services. Where your message includes information about your health, we rely on your explicit consent in providing it.
How we use your information
The information you submit is used solely to respond to your enquiry. We do not use it for marketing, pass it to third parties, or use it for any other purpose.
How your information is sent
When you submit the contact form, your message is sent to us by email over an encrypted connection, using Brevo as the transactional email service. Brevo is used purely to transmit the message and does not use your details for its own purposes.
No copy of your message is kept on this website. Our website does not store form submissions in a database or in any email log.
Brevo keeps a record of the fact that an email was sent, including the email address it was sent to, the subject line, and the time it was sent. This is retained for one month, which is the minimum period Brevo requires in order to monitor for spam and maintain sending reliability, after which it is deleted automatically. Brevo is configured not to store a copy of the message content itself.
You can read Brevo’s privacy policy at brevo.com/legal/privacypolicy.
How long we keep your information
Your enquiry will be held in our email inbox for as long as is reasonably necessary to respond to and resolve your enquiry. Once resolved, we will delete the email.
Our email is provided by Apple’s iCloud Mail service. When we delete an email it is moved to a deleted items folder, where it is held for up to 30 days before being permanently erased by Apple. You can read Apple’s privacy policy at apple.com/uk/legal/privacy.
A record of the email’s delivery is held by Brevo for one month, as described above. We do not retain personal data beyond this.
Cookies
This website does not set any cookies of its own, and we do not use analytics or any other tracking technology. We do not collect or store any data about your visit.
Two features on the site involve third parties, and these are explained below. Neither is used by us to track you.
Website hosting
Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information when a page is requested, such as your IP address, browser type, and the time of the request. These server logs are generated for security and troubleshooting purposes, are kept for a limited period, and are not used by us to identify or track individual visitors.
Spam protection
Our contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to help prevent automated spam submissions. Turnstile works by analysing certain browser and device signals to determine whether the person submitting the form is human. It does not use tracking cookies, and does not collect or store personally identifiable information.
This processing is carried out by Cloudflare, Inc. You can read more about how Turnstile works and Cloudflare’s approach to privacy at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
Embedded YouTube videos
Some pages on this website may contain embedded YouTube videos. These are embedded using YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), which means YouTube does not place advertising or tracking cookies on your device simply because you have loaded the page.
Because the video player is loaded from Google’s servers, Google will receive your IP address and basic technical information about your device whenever a page containing a video is displayed. If you choose to play a video, YouTube may then store data on your device and collect information about your viewing, in the same way as if you were watching on the YouTube website. If you are signed in to a Google account, that activity may be associated with your account.
This processing is carried out by Google and is outside our control. You can read Google’s privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
Links to other websites
This website contains links to external websites, including YouTube. Following a link takes you away from this site, and no information is shared with those sites unless you choose to visit them. Once you are there, that site’s own privacy policy applies. We have no control over, and accept no responsibility for, the content or privacy practices of any third-party website.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Know what personal data we hold about you
- Request a copy of any data we hold
- Ask us to correct inaccurate data
- Ask us to delete your data
- Ask us to restrict how we use your data
- Object to our use of your data
- Withdraw your consent at any time
- Complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office
To exercise any of these rights, please contact Sue Judge at info@suejudgewholistichealth.co.uk. We will respond within one month.
Complaints
If you have a concern about how we handle your personal data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be published on this page with an updated date at the top.
